Maike Androsch is a composer from Germany blending elements of orchestral and electronic music.

Recent projects include additional music for the RTL Dünentod series and Tatort (ARD) starring Jan Josef Liefers and Axel Prahl as well as the score for the award-winning short film The Little Death, which premiered at San Antonio Film Festival in 2023.

She received piano lessons from the age of 6 and participated in several piano competitions before starting to focus on composing. In 2015 she entered her first composition competition (22. Jugend-Kompositionswettbewerb) and was awarded with the second prize and a performance of her piece “Verschollen” for Oboe, Viola and Cello.

One year later, she started her Bachelor study in Composition for Film and Theatre in the Netherlands, where she had the opportunity to work with ensembles like Matangi String Quartet and Orkest de Ereprijs. She finished her studies in 2020 and is now working as a freelance film composer.

She enjoys writing both film music and classical concert music. In 2020 her music was performed at the annual Andriessen Festival in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
